DESCRIPTION:In the first part of the talk we present a few fundamental pro
 perties of stationary tessellations of Euclidean space. Then we proceed wi
 th more recent distributional results on Poisson Voronoi and Poisson hyper
 plane tessellations. Finally we propose three models for continuum percola
 tion on planar tessellations.
