DESCRIPTION:Cambridge Intellectual Seminar is designed to be long-term ser
 ies to discuss the various phenomena in contemporary China\, to summarize 
 the experience of China’s success\, and to provide theoretical interpret
 ations and policy recommendations to addressing developmental problems in 
 China. The key speakers will all be distinguished guests with high profile
  and acknowledged expertise in their own academic areas.\n\nThe key speake
 r on 12th May will be Hugh Davies\, a British Diplomat for 33 years\, the 
 British Ambassador for the handover negotiations of Hong Kong in 1997\, th
 e current Chairman of the China Association and Vice Chairman of the Great
  Britain China Centre.\n\nWith his lifetime experience of living\, working
  and getting to understand China and much of Asia\, Hugh will present us h
 is incomparable experiences and insightful views on contemporary China.\n\
