 redient for\nchocolate\, has had an adventurous history dating back to Pre
 -Columbian\ntimes! This talk will present the true history of chocolate an
 d its use\,\nnot only as a food item\, but also for ritual use by the Anci
 ent Maya\, for\ntrade and exchange by the Aztecs\, and as a precious commo
 dity in global\neconomics today. A sampling of special varieties of chocol
