 1955) is one of the most important directors in\ncontemporary German film.
  She became widely known for her comedies\n"Maenner" ("Men") in 1985 and "
 Nackt" ("Naked") in 2002. Her films have\nreceived various prestigious awa
 rds\, e.g. the Bayerische Filmpreis for\n"Kirschblueten - Hanami" and\, mo
 st recently\, the Grimme Preis in 2011 for\n"Klimawechsel" ("Climate Chang
 e"). In addition to her filmic work\, Doerrie\nalso directed various opera
 s in major German theatres\, most importantly\nCosi fan tutte (2001) and T
