DESCRIPTION:In situ measurements of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs)\, perfluoroc
 arbons (PFCs) and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) at Cape Grim Tasmania (41oS) h
 ave been use to calculate Australian emissions (2005-2009) of these potent
  greenhouse gases (GHGs). These emissions have been compared to the Austra
 lian GHG national accounts that are submitted annually to the United Natio
 ns Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). For the first time\, C
 SIRO atmospheric verification data have been included in the Australian go
 vernment submission to the UNFCCC.
