DESCRIPTION:We study stable bundles with 4 sections on a smooth algebraic 
 curve. We give  geometric constructions for such bundles of lowest possibl
 e degree on curves of genus 10  and interpret the results in terms of gene
 ralized Clifford indices. We report on related  examples and the current s
 ituations for rank 2 Brill-Noether theory.\n
