 pharmaceutical industry\, and its use is continuing to expand rapidly. In 
 vitro models are replacing animals in many tests and assays\; its enormous
  potential in the fields of stem cell and regenerative medicine has hardly
  started to be realized\; and its utility in research grows ever faster".
