DESCRIPTION:Many of the conjectures in the  Minimal Model Program are equi
 valent to the finite generation of some adjoint rings\, which is known to 
 hold in the case of big boundaries. The aim of this talk is to present a n
 ew plan to obtain an effective version of some of these results\, which de
 pends on the topology of the underlying varieties.\n
