DESCRIPTION:Optical Tomography has developed enormously in the last 20 yea
rs. In this modality\, light in the visible or near infrared part of the s
pectrum is injected into an object and its transmitted intensity measured
on the boundary of the domain. Several inverse problems can be described w
hich correspond to parameter idenfication problems\, inverse source proble
ms\, or both. Both linear and non-linear approaches can be used.\n\nIn thi
s talk I will describe several of these problems\, their applications\, an
d methods for their solution. \n
