 n Eilers\, Theodor-Boveri-Institute\, University of Würzburg\, Germany

DESCRIPTION:Martin Eilers’ research interests are focused on the functio
n of human myc genes and in understanding how mutations of these genes con
tribute to the genesis of human tumors. His group is particularly interest
ed in understanding the mechanisms by which Myc proteins repress transcrip
tion and on the regulation of Myc function by the ubiquitin system.
