DESCRIPTION:I will present a new model for the evolution of the Solar Syst
 em -- called\nthe Grand Tack -- that invokes a large scale\, inward-then-o
utward migration\nof Jupiter in the gaseous protoplanetary disk. This mod
el is able to\nreproduce both the terrestrial planets and the asteroid bel
 t. I will also\nshow how Uranus and Neptune's growth can\, in some circum
stances\, be\naccelerated by the gas giants' outward migration.\n
