DESCRIPTION:Jane Munro is a curator in the Department of Paintings\, Drawi
 ngs and Prints at the Fitzwilliam Museum and Director of Studies in Histor
 y of Art at Christ's College. An expert on European painting and drawing o
 f the 19th and early 20th centuries\, especially the relationship between 
 word and image\, she will be known to HPS people especially as co-curator 
 of the wonderful\, original and hugely successful 'Endless Forms: Charles 
 Darwin\, Natural Science and the Visual Arts' (2009). This talk will discu
 ss an exhibition she is planning.
