DESCRIPTION:My work focuses on understanding how vitamin D modulates the i
 mmune system\, particularly in the context of autoimmunity. The talk will 
 focus on my recent research which has examined the effects vitamin D has o
 n T cell activation using a novel dendritic cell driven murine model of CN
 S autoimmunity. In addition\, I will discuss some of my recent clinical st
 udies which have explored vitamin D metabolism in a range of spontaneous d
 iseases in companion animals.
