DESCRIPTION:This talk will outline the development of a novel extrusion pr
 ocess\, which combines ideas from both film casting and fibre spinning pro
 cess. The end result\, comprising of an extruded 'tape' containing multipl
 e\, parallel\, cylindrical bores has achieved successful proof of concept 
 in fields as diverse as chemical microreactors\, plastic heat solar panels
  and pressure sensing.
