DESCRIPTION:This seminar will discuss the design of a manual as well as an
 \nautopilot flight controller. These control laws are based upon nonlinear
 \ndynamic inversion (NDI) and include the previously developed concept of 
 Pseudo\nControl Hedging (PCH). This PCH algorithm adapts the reference mod
 el for the\nsystem output in case of unachievable commands due to control 
 input saturation.\nThis control algorithm has been applied in a high fidel
 ity simulation model of\nthe VFW-614 ATTAS (Advanced Technologies Testing 
 Aircraft System) laboratory\naircraft\, where its beneficial influence has
  been illustrated. Test flights\nhave been performed with ATTAS to evaluat
 e the flight control techniques in a\nrelevant environment.
