 cia and Transcarpathia.' Dr Moser is Associate Professor at the Institute 
 for Slavic Studies at the University of Vienna and Professor at the Ukrain
 ian Free University in Munich. In 2005\, Moser was awarded a START Award b
 y the Austrian Science Foundation for his project '1000 Years of Ukrainian
  Language History in Galicia'. He was a Shklar Fellow at Harvard Universit
 y in 2005.
