DESCRIPTION:People suffering with schizophrenia have a 20% lifespan reduct
 ion compared to general population and almost all age-related illnesses ar
 e overrepresented among them. There are several contributing factors\, inc
 luding deleterious antipsychotic medication side effects\, unhealthy lifes
 tyle and social deprivation\, among others. \nTaking a different approach\
 , we explored the hypothesis that people suffering with schizophrenia have
  an actual “aged” body\, independent of the previous factors.
