DESCRIPTION:In this talk we consider different variants of hybrid inflatio
 n model where a waterfall phase\ntransition takes place either during or a
 t the end of inflation. Depending on the sharpness of the waterfall\ntrans
 ition and whether it happens early during inflation or towards the end of 
 inflation it can have\ninteresting effects on large scale curvature pertur
 bations and non-Gaussianity. In  particular\, we show that\na sharp phase 
 transition happening early on during inflation produces a large spike non-
 Gaussianity.
