DESCRIPTION:The use of public transport can reduce the environmental impac
 ts associated with internal combustion engines. The purpose of my research
  is to evaluate and quantify the air quality and climate impacts of curren
 t and future bus technologies in London\, including diesel after-treatment
  devices\, compressed natural gas\, and hybrid electric buses. I will pres
 ent emissions results from this study and discuss the impacts these result
 s might have on technology adoption policy on London buses.
