 k \n\n*Ignite* opens the door once a year to the prestigious *Cambridge Hi
 gh Technology Network* with experienced entrepreneurs available to help in
 dividuals access the right skills\, funding and networks to make their inn
 ovations a commercial reality. It is an intense\, one week training progra
 mme for aspiring entrepreneurs and corporate innovators which attracts a d
 iverse range of projects broadly categorised as being from the high-tech s
 ector or life sciences sector. A blend of practical teaching sessions\, ex
 pert clinics\, mentor sessions and experienced advice and support provide 
 the tools\, contacts and confidence to transform ideas into successful bus
 iness projects or ventures. \n\n*The programme is open to:*\n\n•	Student
 s\, graduates or academics considering a new venture\n\n•	Solo scientist
 s or technologists seeking to commercialise a new product\n\n•	Researche
 rs and Managers from established organisations\n\n•	Directors of existin
 g young businesses that are seeking to commercialise a new product or serv
 ice\n \nOne of our core values is to involve experienced and new entrepren
 eurs\, practitioners and service providers in the delivery of all programm
 es\, as they have the credibility to teach entrepreneurship through sharin
 g their own experiences and knowledge and inspiring future entrepreneurs. 
 This creates direct links between students and the business community. The
 re are *80-100 contributors* to the Ignite week including experts such as

 e final deadline for applications is 21st May 2012.\n\nIn addition\, CfEL 
 has introduced a new mentor scheme to provide structured support to entrep
 reneurs after completing the programme. Delegates have the opportunity to 
 become members of the scheme\, for a fee\, in order to continue their acce
 ss to networks\, investors\, relevant training and/or events over a furthe
 r six month period. The *Mentor Scheme Induction* takes place on *Saturday
  7th July 2012*.\n\n*The Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL)* has b
 een running this programme for over ten years with increasing success. *Ov
 er 537 participants* from 26 countries across Europe\, Asia and the Americ
 as have attended since the programme started in 1999. The alumni are made 
 up of people from various disciplines and industry sectors such as bioscie
 nce\, physics\, engineering and computer sciences. It is estimated that *o
 ver 125 business ventures* have been developed by Ignite alumni to date an
 d a recent survey established that *more than £85 million in funding* has
  been raised by Ignite alumni from 1999-2009.\n\nFor further information a
