DESCRIPTION:This particular lunch time seminar is different from the usual
  in that it features the origins\, rather than the outputs. I put together
  some photographs and head-cam video footage of my recent fieldwork with m
 ilitary surgeons in the Helmand province\, Afghanistan. If you can live wi
 th the amateurish nature of the resulting 18-minute presentation\, I think
  it will leave you with a pretty decent idea of what life there's like ...
  and of the human cost of a war that\, the brilliance of our work notwiths
 tanding\, we were unable to prevent.
