DESCRIPTION:The transcendental Brauer group is the part of the Brauer\ngro
 up of a variety that survives the extension of the ground\nfield to its al
 gebraic closure. I will address the finiteness problem for\nthe transcende
 ntal Brauer group\, give examples when it can\nbe bounded or even computed
  explicitly\, and discuss some other\nrelated results.\n
