DESCRIPTION:This seminar presents a section of my PhD project involving th
 e pilot use of phenomenographic interviews (P) and Q-methodology (Q) to st
 udy the diversity of possibilities of conceptions of classroom assessment 
 amongst Singaporean primary and secondary teachers. The different clusters
  of conceptions from the Q analysis in particular\, have revealed underlyi
 ng bases of common and different practices of classroom assessment. This s
 uggests opportunities for consensus-building that may be useful for teache
 rs\, policy-makers\, professional learning developers and researchers\, pa
 rticular in the areas of teacher's knowledge and assessment literacy.
