DESCRIPTION:Conjugated polymer and molecular semiconductors enable manufac
 turing of active electronic circuits by a combination of solution processi
 ng and direct printing that will be used to realize new applications\, suc
 h as electronics integrated onto flexible substrates. These materials also
  have fascinating physical properties that reflect their molecular electro
 nic structure and the way in which these molecules self-assemble into orde
 red structures from solution. In this talk we will focus on presenting cur
 rent understanding of their electronic properties on a molecular scale and
  discuss how organic semiconductors can be used to implement multiple elec
 tronic and optical functionalities in a single material.
