DESCRIPTION:Motivated by considering M2-branes ending on M5-branes\, we co
 nsider the ABJM theory with a boundary. The addition of a boundary to a Ch
 ern-Simons theory is non-trivial\, in particular the bulk action is only g
 auge invariant up to a total derivative. For pure Chern-Simons theories it
  is possible to impose boundary conditions which leads to the well-known r
 elation to WZW models. However for Chern-Simons plus matter theories\, the
  situation is more complicated. Instead\, we show how to add boundary degr
 ees of freedom to restore the gauge symmetry\, and this turns out to also 
 lead to a type of WZW model on the boundary.\n
