DESCRIPTION:The focus of this talk is the description and analysis  of cyn
 icism in Nietzsche's _Thus Spoke Zarathustra_\, also with recourse to the 
 _Posthumous Fragments_ from 1884-1889. \n\nIt is part of the work in progr
 ess on the speaker's PhD project "Literary Cynicism"\, which traces cynici
 sm in key texts of Western literature since the Renaissance and into the b
 eginnings of the twentieth century.
