DESCRIPTION:A combination of hotter x-ray beams (both at synchrotrons and 
 lab-sources) coupled with the development of more sensitive and fast\ndete
 ctors have led to massive reductions in the time taken to collect x-ray da
 ta. That\, coupled with the rise of fragment\nscreening by x-ray crystallo
 graphy\, has led to a similarly massive increase in the numbers of data se
 ts to process\, to the point\nwhere manual processing of individual data s
 ets becomes rate limiting.\n\nautoPROC is a "expert" one-click system deve
 loped by Global Phasing\, to automatically and intelligently process x-ray
  data. This\ntalk will describe the design and use of autoPROC for automat
 ed data processing and also give some examples of the importance of\ndata 
 collection strategy.\n
