DESCRIPTION:I review the basic motivation for using galaxy clusters as a p
recision cosmology probe\, and for cluster cosmology with photometric surv
eys in particular. I summarize current cosmological\nconstraints from the
Sloan Digital Sky Survey\, placing an emphasis on how the Planck Early Res
ults impact the interpretation of optically and X-ray selected galaxy clus
ters. I end by discussing ongoing work aimed at improving these cosmologic
al constraints\, and extending these analyses to future cluster surveys\,
 particularly the Dark\nEnergy Survey.
