DESCRIPTION:*The Humanitarian Centre* and *CUTEC* present a unique opportu
 nity to impact Global Health through open innovation\n\n*REGISTER* "NOW":h

 k is to provide an innovative approach to a live challenge presented by 1 
 of 8 organisations working with current global health issues.  Innovative 
 means creating new methods and new ideas which break with conventional exp
 ectations.\n\n17th March: Organisations present their challenges to the te
 ams.\n\nAll teams will have 1 week to work with a mentor from 1 of the 8 p
 articipating organisations\, and develop an innovative\, but viable\, appr
 oach to their challenge.\n\n24th March: Teams will present their approache
 s to a panel of experts and serial entrepreneurs--and there will be a priz
 e for the winning team at the closing wine reception.\n\n_Please note that
  this event requires a week long commitment to the task of problem solving
  - with guidance from your mentor._\n\n*Why participate?*\n\nThe Global He
 alth Hack Day will engender an atmosphere of entrepreneurship and innovati
 on\, bringing together creative\, enterprising people who want to put thei
 r knowledge to use to improve health in developing countries.\n  \n*It is 
 a chance to develop transferrable skills that can be used outside of the s
