DESCRIPTION:This talk will survey a number of different modelling approach
 es that have been taken to investigate aspects of tumour growth\, ranging 
 from simple ordinary differential equation models\, to partial differentia
 l equation models and hybrid cellular automaton type models. Applications 
 will include colorectal cancer growth\, acid-mediated tumour progression\,
  and possible therapeutic implications.
