DESCRIPTION:I will show how loop space can be used in the description of M
 5-branes. I will focus mainly on the description of self-dual strings as w
 ell as a self-dual string analogue of magnetic bags. I will develop a Nahm
  transform for both cases and construct a number of explicit solutions. I 
 will also show how loop space gives a natural interpretation to a recently
 \nproposed set of N=(2\,0) supersymmetric equations which might describe\n
 M5-branes.\n\n
