DESCRIPTION:Contrary to what was believed until 10 years ago\, almost all
bacteria contain proteins on the inside that form filaments and the filame
nt-forming proteins are homologous to their eukaryotic counterparts in all
  non-bacterial cells.\n\nThe so-called bacterial cytoskeleton plays import
ant roles in cell division\, DNA segregation and cell shape determination
and hence plays fundamental roles in their life cycle. \n\nI will present
an overview of the structure and function of the Bacterial Cytoskeleton.
