DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce that Professor Martin Goodman of 
 Wolfson College\, Oxford\, to share the fruits of his research into the hi
 story of toleration within Judaism\, followed by a free wine reception.\n\
 nProf. Goodman has published many articles and books to great acclaim on t
 he subject of Jews and Jewish culture in Roman times\, with his exhaustive
  'Rome and Jerusalem' arriving in 2007 to great acclaim. He is renowned fo
 r having an unparalleled knowledge of both Jewish and Classical sources\, 
 and for his subtle and considered analysis of both.\n\nHe has now broadene
 d his chronological scope\, and will be discussing the history of what is 
 currently a hugely relevant topic in Jewish society around the world and e
 specially Israeli politics\, from ancient times all the way to more modern
