DESCRIPTION:We will fix an elliptic curve E/K for an imaginary quadratic f
 ield K\, with complex multiplication by ĸ.  For an abelian extension F
 /K\, I will talk about how we can use the complex and p-adic L-functions a
 ttached to E to deduce results about the arithmetic of E/F (e.g. E(F) - th
 e F-rational points of E).
