 g of starting your own business? Then sign up for *Enterprisers* (21st to 
 24th May) to unlock your potential. \n\nWe have an exciting opportunity fo
 r all postgraduates and postdocs at the University of Cambridge to partici
 pate for FREE in the inspiring and intensive 4-day residential Enterpriser
 s programme from 21st to 24th May 2012 at Wyboston Lakes\, Bedfordshire.\n
 \n*What is Enterprisers?*\n\nThe Enterprisers programme is aimed at ambiti
 ous and energetic individuals looking to unlock their entrepreneurial pote
 ntial. The programme is fun\, action-oriented\, practical and based on exp
 eriential learning\, i.e. learning by doing. Enterprisers equips you with 
 the skills to spot enterprising opportunities\, develop self-efficacy and 
 to apply more entrepreneurial ways of thinking to any research or project 
 through a process of knowledge\, activity and reflection.  \n\n_“By the 
 end of the week\, a number of potential ideas had evolved which may well f
 orm the core of future business initiatives.”_  *William Farr (Universit
 y of Cambridge)*\n\n*What will you gain from Enterprisers?* \n\nWell\, for
  a start you can learn new and innovative ways to think about your researc
 h. In particular\, it can help you learn how to raise awareness of the imp
 act of your research within communities. The skills gained on Enterprisers
  are equally applicable to developing a new venture\, a student society\, 
 a community project and indeed research projects going forward.  Not only 
 that\, it is a great environment for developing self-confidence and other 
 personal skills like networking and team awareness. At the end of the prog
 ramme\, you will learn to think more creatively and entrepreneurially.\n\n

 d to revive my passion for my research. Enterprisers not only exceeded my 
 expectations but also identified a possible future career.”_\n*Universit
 y of Cambridge PhD student*\n\n*The Enterprisers Journey*\n\nEach programm
 e involves *64 students*\, *16 facilitators* and *3 to 4 guest speakers* i
 n 4 days of energetic and intense activities aimed at developing specific 
 skills. \n\n*Day One* enables understanding of personal values\, motivatio
 ns and direction. *Day Two* focuses on the importance of building relation
 ships and teams\, as well as learning how to spot opportunities for ventur
 es. *Day Three* looks at the basic elements of taking an idea and turning 
 it into a product or service. At this stage\, we invite experienced entrep
 reneurs to share their experiences of success and failure. Finally\, *Day 
 Four* is all about communication\, passion and pitching. We support you in
  learning how to keep the motivation going and to continually nurture entr
 epreneurial intent.\n\n*The Learning Objectives:*\n\n• To raise the leve
 l of entrepreneurial intent in individuals\n\n• To build self-confidence
  and raise the level of self-efficacy\n\n• To unleash creativity\n\n•

 mme was established as CMI-Connections by the Cambridge-MIT Institute in 2
 002. It has been managed and delivered by the University of Cambridge’s 
 Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL) since 2003 inspiring over 1200 
 students to date.  \n
