DESCRIPTION:This talk will present highlights of my most recent work and w
 ill explain how an electronic engineer could possibly find a home within t
 he fashion industry. \nI will talk about my experiences with telepresence\
 , computer vision\, 3D printing and cloth modeling and on my experiences u
 sing the Kinect\, olfactory displays and ubiquitous computing.\nI will des
 cribe why designing for everyone rather than for someone is so important a
 nd why we need better tools to make electronics and programming accessible
  to non-specialists\; I shall also share my thoughts on the importance of 
 collaborative working practices for the creation of meaningful products an
 d services.\n
