e Tauopathies - Timothy Rittman\, Department of Clinical Neuroscience\, Un

DESCRIPTION:Research in neurodegenerative disease is in desperate need of
a biomarker linking pathology with clinical syndromes. Network analysis of
functional connectivity may play a role in this endeavour. This talk cove
rs some preliminary analysis of network changes in progressive supranuclea
r palsy and corticobasal degeneration\, two diseases associated with aggre
gation of 'tau' protein in the brain. In addition\, I will present modelle
d data examining potential pathological pathways to understand how they mi
ght change network graph theory metrics.
