 rve over\na number field with values in the class group of the field. It s
 its\nsomewhere between the monodromy pairing and the Neron-Tate height\npa
 iring. I would like to discuss how this pairing shows up in\nquestions on 
 Galois module structures\, how one can compute it\neffectively and how it 
 links to _p_-descent.
