DESCRIPTION:A standard (and usually implicit) assumption in physics is tha
t experimental parameters can be chosen "freely". For example\, the conclu
sions we draw from Bell-type experiments are generally only valid if the m
easurements are selected at random. In this talk\, I consider a situation
where this assumption is weakened and ask whether the standard conclusion
s we draw in physics are still valid. As a possible path towards an answer
\, I will show that it is possible to turn "partially free randomness" int
o "fully free randomness" --- a task that is provably impossible in a pure
 ly classical world.
