DESCRIPTION:We present the topic of percolation on planar graphs\, focusin
 g on the\nissue of universality.\nWe give a universality result for the ca
 nonical percolation models on\nthe so-called isoradial graphs. These are p
 roved to be critical\, to\nsatisfy box-crossing (RSW) inequalities and to 
 have universal arms\nexponents (assuming they exist). This is achieved by 
 using the\nstar-triangle transformation to obtain an equivalence extending
  over a\nset of bond percolation models on isoradial graphs.\nThe work is 
 joint with Geoffrey Grimmett.
