DESCRIPTION:ReCoS is happy to announce the first Cambridge Comparative Syn
 tax conference! We intend CamCoS to be an annual meeting\, discussing vari
 ous themes in the field of comparative syntax. The theme for the first wor
 kshop is 'Ergativity'\, which will be approached from different angles by 
 the following invited speakers:\n\nJessica Coon\, \nRoberta D'Alessandro\,
  \nGeoffrey Khan\, \nItziar Laka\, \nMilan Rezac\, and \nLisa Travis.\n\nT
 he conference will take place 18th-19th May 2012 on the Sidgwick site of t
 he University of Cambridge\, and is organised by the ReCoS team\, consisti
 ng of Ian Roberts\, Theresa Biberauer\, Michelle Sheehan\, Jenneke van der
  Wal\, Alison Biggs and Tim Bazalgette.\n\nThe complete programme is avail
