DESCRIPTION:Information provision services are rapidly evolving towards pr
 oviding better targeted information about our planet to meet the demands o
 f society and decision makers. Providing important information about food\
 , water\, conflict\, disease\, economics\, weather\, and other planetary s
 ervices is increasingly reliant on computational methods that integrate em
 pirical evidence with sufficiently resolved models of the real systems to 
 deliver the most reliable information presently possible. I will describe 
 our work to advance state of the art in delivering information about our p
 lanet to those that most urgently need it.
