DESCRIPTION:Dr Esther-Miriam Wagner is a Research Associate at the Taylor-
 Schechter Genizah Research Unit preparing descriptions of Judaeo-Arabic an
 d Arabic Genizah manuscripts. Her main research interests include Judaeo-A
 rabic\, Yiddish\, the diachronic language change of Arabic\, Arabic dialec
 tology and language typology of Jewish languages.\n\nThis seminar is part 
 of The World of the Cairo Genizah Series. Held in co-operation with the Ta
 ylor-Schechter Genizah Research Unit this lecture series aims to present t
 he latest innovative research on a number of key themes of importance to t
 he study of Muslim-Jewish relations within the context of the Cairo Geniza
 h\, an important cache of medieval manuscripts in Hebrew script discovered
  in the late nineteenth century in the Ben Ezra Synagogue in Fustat (Old C
 airo).
