DESCRIPTION:The steadily increasing world population and economic growth i
n the non-OECD countries will lead to an increase in global energy demand
of around 40% by 2030. Despite relatively rapid growth in renewable energ
y sources\, forecasts suggest that much of this demand will be met from co
nventional hydrocarbon sources. From an oil and gas perspective\, what do
the historical exploration trends tell us about the nature of oil and gas
business in the future and its ability to meet this demand?\n
