DESCRIPTION:Abstract: \nIn the future England of Teri Terry's Slated\, und
 erage criminals and terrorists have their memories wiped\; their pasts\, s
 tolen. They are assigned to new families for a second chance. There is an 
 unjust oppressive government\; a resistance that seeks to overthrow it by 
 any means necessary. Are they freedom fighters\, or terrorists? Is the dif
 ference just a matter of perspective? Against the backdrop of the usually 
 black and white worlds of dystopian young adult fiction\, Teri explores th
 ese issues and decisions made in the writing process.  \n\nBio:  \nAuth
 or Teri Terry has been many things in many places: scientist\, lawyer\, op
 tometrist\, business manager\, and library and teaching assistant. Now she
  makes things up for a living. Slated is her first in a trilogy published 
 May 2012 with Orchard Books\, and in the US with Penguin\, January 2013. \
