DESCRIPTION:The average properties of open and closed equilateral polygona
 l chains depend upon geometrical and topological constraints.  Several new
  rigorous results and numerical studies of lattice and off-lattice polygon
 s will be presented.  These include ergodic algorithms for thick 3D open c
 hains and lattice random walks as well as the consideration of the presenc
 e and scale of entanglements such as knots and slipknots.\n
