DESCRIPTION: I will start by defining and explaining the particulars invol
ved in the nearby Lagrangian conjecture. Then I will shortly discuss invar
iants such as symplectic homology and Fukaya categories and how these have
been used to obtain results on the conjecture. This will lead us to consi
der a notion of fiber-wise symplectic homology\, which defines a local sys
tem and provides a Serre type spectral sequence strongly converging to sym
plectic homology. I will then explain how certain structures on this spect
ral sequence leads to new results on the conjecture.\n
