DESCRIPTION:The networks group and the MRC CBU connectivity interest group
  are delighted to announce the launch of the Cambridge Connectome Consorti
 um\, a new forum for brain-connectivity researchers in Cambridge. The aim 
 of the Consortium is to hold regular monthly meetings\, to host internal a
 nd external speakers\, and to fly in big names to Cambridge from the UK an
 d the wider world.\n\nThe Cambridge Connectome Consortium meetings will be
  held at the MRC CBU lecture theatre and not on Downing Site. The address 
 is 15 Chaucer Road (click for map). These meetings will be held in additio
 n to our regular networks meetings on Downing Site. \n\nThe first meeting 
 will be held at 11am on Tuesday 02 October and will feature two internal p
 resentations by Ameera Patel and Prantik Kundu\, both at the Brain Mapping
  Unit. Ameera and Prantik will both speak about optimized preprocessing st
 rategies for functional MRI.
