DESCRIPTION:Recently\, the CMS experiment at the LHC made a measurement of
the top quark mass in the dilepton channel using the endpoints of kinemat
ic distributions\, including MT2. In addition to the top quark mass\, thi
s method was applied to simultaneously measure the top quark\, W boson and
neutrino masses. Since dileptonic ttbar has a topology similar to new ph
ysics\, the measurement is a testing ground for determining the masses of
beyond the Standard Model particles. Furthermore\, the variables used in
the study are well-suited for new physics searches and thus many analyses
 are utilizing their separation power.
