DESCRIPTION:Over the past few years Britain’s butterflies have had to pu
t up with real extremes of weather everything from the hottest spring t
o the wettest June on record. Based on research carried out with the BCN W
ildlife Trust\, I investigate how well butterflies cope with microclimatic
change on isolated reserves and how temperature can influence the behavio
ur and breeding success of some of our rarest species.
